Richard R. Fay, D.C.

Dr. Fay serves as the director of the DuPage Health and Physical Therapy Center and has provided chiropractic care in Naperville, Illinois since 1981. He is a 1980 graduate of the National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, Illinois. Dr. Fay is also certified in acupuncture and hypnotherapy. He has dedicated his career at the national, state, and local level to promote and protect the rights of individuals to receive chiropractic care as a treatment option for their healthcare needs.

Dr. Fay’s practice philosophy is to provide conservative healthcare solutions which include educating patients on the importance of therapeutic lifestyle changes, behavioral modification, nutrition, diet and exercise.

He currently serves on the board of directors of the National University Heath Sciences Foundation. He is a member of the President’s Alumni Advisory Council for the National University of Health Sciences. He also presently serves on the Blue Cross/Blue Shield provider selection committee and on the Illinois Medicare carrier advisory committee.

Dr. Fay has served on the board of directors for the Illinois Chiropractic Society as well as serving as president of the Chicago Chiropractic Society. Dr. Fay has also served on the Capital Campaign Cabinet for the National College of Chiropractic.

For seventeen years, Dr. Fay also was the director of the Mont Clare Chiropractic Clinic in Chicago, Illinois. During that time he helped develop the Chiropractic Department at Belmont Community Hospital in Chicago. At the hospital, he served on the credentialing committee and was the chairman of the Chiropractic Quality Assurance Committee.

Dr. Fay has been the recipient of numerous awards including the Chiropractic Physician of the Year Award from the Chicago Chiropractic Society, Presidential Award from the Illinois Chiropractic Society, Presidential Citation Award from the National College of Chiropractic and Outstanding Service Award from the Chicago Chiropractic Society.
In 2009, The Illinois Chiropractic Society has awarded its most prestigious honor, the Chiropractic Physician of the Year award to Dr. Fay.
