DuPage Health and Physical Therapy Center is pleased to offer a new
specialized screening test for the heart, called The Hypergraph
Impedance Cardiogram. It differs from an Electrocardiogram (EKG or
ECG) in that it measures the electrical conductivity of the heart;
whereas the Hypergraph measures the ability and efficiency of the
heart to pump blood to the rest of the body.
This screening
test can help with the early detection of cardiovascular problems.
It is a fast, non-invasive test that doesn’t
require any removal of clothing. In about 15 minutes you will
have a reading of how well your heart is functioning.
