Biometric Impedance Analysis (BIA) is an evaluation tool that measures the electrical conductivity and electrical resistance of your body. The results of these measurements are then placed into a complex equation and information about a person’s body composition is generated. Measurements include: Total Body Water, Intracellular and Extracellular water, Lean Body Mass, and Fat. We can then use this data to help better analyze changes in body composition that could be made to improve your health. The BIA is integrated with our Firstline Therapy Lifestyle Program, to help us chart progress and make recommendations to patients as their body composition changes.
