Testing: Physical Exam

Physical examination is recommended to be performed annually, to find any beginning stages of disease before they could become harmful to you. It is also recommended that before changing aspects of a person’s lifestyle, an examination be performed to assess your overall health.

At DuPage Health and Physical Therapy (DHPT) our examinations include a comprehensive history of your complaint/ condition, reviews of your; past medical history, family history, lifestyle and social history.

We then perform a comprehensive physical examination to assess the functional makeup of your health. If needed we will order the necessary diagnostic testing (X-ray, MRI, EMG/NCV) or laboratory testing (Blood, Urine, or Specialty) for your condition(s).

Utilizing these methods we can give you a diagnosis, recommend care, and suggest dietary and nutritional changes to keep you in optimal health.

At DHPT we want to help you with early intervention to prevent the formation of chronic disease.
