As with a good physical exam
to obtain information about your health, many times further investigation is
needed to confirm a diagnosis. Laboratory analysis is a common way for a physician to obtain further information to help better
treat your condition. The results can help better guide your treatment and
help lead to better overall health. Common laboratory tests include blood
and or urine sampling.
It is also good to note that just because your test results came
back “normal” or “within normal limits”
that does not mean the test was unnecessary. Normal test results are good
because they not only help rule out disease, but it also establishes
a “personal baseline” against which future tests can be compared. We
can order necessary tests to further evaluate your condition.
