  • 1 tbsp soy sauce, plus more for serving

  • 1 tbsp lime juice, plus more for serving

  • 1 portion* lean beef filet mignon or flank steak, trimmed

  • 1 cup cooked cauliflower rice, spaghetti squash, or other veggie noodles, warmed in the microwave

  • ⅓ cup sliced red cabbage

  • ⅓ cup sliced radish

  • ⅓ cup sliced green onion

  • Large pinch salt

  • Hot sauce (zero sugar), for serving, optional


Combine the soy sauce and lime juice in a small bowl; add the steak, turn to coat, and allow to marinate for at least 10 minutes, or refrigerate for up to 2 hours.

Heat a grill pan over medium-high heat. Add the steak and cook until it is seared on the outside and cooked to the desired temperature, 4 to 5 minutes per side for medium rare. Place on a cutting board and let rest for 5 minutes.

Place the warmed cauliflower rice in a bowl. Top with the cabbage, radish, and green onion. Thinly slice the steak and fan over the bowl. Sprinkle with salt and serve with more soy sauce, lime juice, and hot sauce, if desired.
