1 package of Ideal Protein Golden Pancake or Chocolate Chip Pancake mix
1.4 oz cold water
1 tablespoon Walden Farms Maple Walnut Syrup (or any flavor you like)
1/4 teaspoon rum extract (optional)
1/2 teaspoon oil (take out of daily 2-tablespoon limit)
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
Make sure water is cold. Pour cold water into a bowl.
Add Walden Farms Syrup into the water in the bowl.
Add rum flavor to the water in the bowl (optional).
Add oil to water in the bowl.
Open the Ideal Protein Golden Pancake packet and add the baking power. Fold top over and shake to mix.
Heat up your nonstick skillet or griddle to medium heat.
Add the dry ingredients in the package to the wet ingredients in the bowl and mix well. When bubbles start to form, stop.
Turn down the heat on your skillet or griddle just a bit.
Pour the mixture into nonstick skillet. Make one large pancake or two small ones.
Cook on one side until bubble start to form and burst. Turn over only one time to avoid pancake flattening.
Cook the second side until golden brown.
Serve with remaining serving of the Walden Farms Syrup.
